Russia’s Defense Ministry has bombed a road bridge over the M-4 “Don” highway located two kilometers from the town Boguchar in the Voronezh region, eyewitnesses told independent media outlet Verstka. The bridge served as a junction between the M-4 federal highway and regional roads. Boguchar is located approximately 240 kilometers from Voronezh.
The publication noted that heavy FAB-500 bombs, used to destroy infrastructure in Ukraine, could have been used to demolish the bridge. It is not currently known whether Wagner Private Military Company (PMC) equipment and fighters were on the bridge at the time of the explosion.
Telegram channels in Voronezh reported a fire at an oil depot located across the street from the “Tvoi Dom” shopping mall in the city.

Telegram channel Baza claimed that the fire at the oil depot was preceded by an explosion. A video capturing the last minute before the column of smoke appeared shows a helicopter flying low. OSINT researcher CalibreObscura reported that the fire began when Wagner PMC mercenaries attempted to shoot down a Russian Air Force Ka-52 helicopter with the Strela-10 SAM system, and missed, striking the oil depot.
The Telegram channel Voronezh №1 reported that a car is on fire on the bypass section of the highway near the oil depot. The channel’s authors assumed that this is “the second source of the fire that readers write about.” Queues have formed at gas stations across the city.
Voronezh Governor Alexander Gusev reported that a fuel tanker was on fire at the oil depot. According to preliminary data, there were no casualties.
