Russian Defense Minister's daughter reported to own real estate worth half a billion rubles

Ksenia Shoigu, daughter of Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, owns a loft and two penthouses worth half a billion rubles, investigators from Alexei Navalny's team found out. The investigation was published on the Popular Politics YouTube channel:

«Shoigu also has a legitimate daughter, Ksenia, head of the Russian Triathlon Federation. Blogger Alexei Stolyarov is Shoigu's son-in-law. <...> Thanks to a leaked food order database, we've established the whereabouts of Shoigu's family. Alexey Stolyarov orders food to the following address: 7 3rd Kadashevsky lane. This is the Kadashevskiye Palaty super elite apartment complex. There are only 25 loft apartments in the residential complex and the second-level lofts have beautiful views of the Tretyakovskaya Gallery and the Kremlin. According to the Rosreestr data, Ksenia Shoigu owns the top loft with the floor area of 148 meters. The average price per square meter in this closed-to-the-public complex is 1.3 million rubles. It turns out that the market price of the entire apartment the Defense Minister's daughter has in this complex is nearly 200 million rubles.

The investigators note that Ksenia Shoigu bought the loft in 2016, when she was only 25 years old. At the time, the official annual income of her father, Sergei Shoigu, was only 10 million rubles.

When ordering food via Yandex.Food, Ksenia's husband also gave another address: 9 3rd Yamskogo Polya Street. As the investigators found out, Ksenia Shoigu bought a giant penthouse of 435 square meters in 2020, and less than a year ago another one with the floor area of 191 square meters. The two apartments are worth approximately 300 million rubles.

In total, Shoigu's daughter's three apartments may be worth half a billion rubles.

Ksenia Shoigu bought the penthouses already being the owner of the Capital Perform investment company. She conducted paid medical examinations for drivers employed by government organizations and won subcontracts from the oligarch Timchenko for the construction of stadiums, bridges and roads.

On March 2, Ksenia Shoigu stopped being a founder of Capital Perform LLC.
