«This is nonsense and manipulation». Kiev Mayor's press-secretary denies city blockade rumors

In an interview with The Insider press-secretary of the mayor of Kiev Vitaly Klitschko denied information about the blockade of the city. According to her, Kiev is not surrounded.

«This is nonsense and manipulation,» she told The Insider. «Mayor Klitschko will soon release a video statement denying this», she added.

At the same time, The Insider's correspondent in Kiev reports that residents can use at least one highway to enter or exit the city. Earlier, AP published an interview with Kiev Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko, where he allegedly said that the evacuation of the population is now no longer possible because «the city is surrounded» and «all roads are blocked.» He also allegedly said that Kiev was on the verge of a «humanitarian catastrophe.

On the night of February 24, Vladimir Putin announced the launch of a «military operation» in Ukraine. He justified it by the need to «save the country from the neo-Nazis in power». Immediately afterwards, Russia began active combat operations.

As Vladimir Putin launched an attack, thousands of people came out to participate in anti-war protests in St. Petersburg, Moscow, and other cities. They were saying “no to war” and standing in solidarity with Ukrainians. Famous Russians also publicly opposed the invasion of Ukraine and demand that the war be stopped. Here are some examples.
