11 people were killed and 11 were wounded as the result of a massive Russian missile attack across Ukraine on January 26, said Oleksandr Khorunzhy, press secretary of Ukraine’s State Emergency Service.

“Today there were strikes in 11 regions as a result of terrorist attacks by the Russian Federation using both drone and missile strikes. There were 11 casualties and 11 deaths. This is the information as of 3 p.m.,” he noted.

In an earlier statement, Yurii Ihnat, a spokesman for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), said Russian forces fired more than 30 missiles at Ukraine on the morning of January 26.

“We can preliminarily confirm that about six Tu-95s flew out of the Murmansk region and launched missiles,” Ihnat said.

The Kyiv administration reported that 15 missiles were fired directly at the city.
