Police in St. Petersburg detained a high school girl suspected of spray-painting an anti-war inscription on a Mariupol-themed street installation in the Palace Square, 78.ru reports citing sources in the law enforcement agencies.
According to news portal, the girl in question is 17 years old, she is studying in the 11th grade. The police drew up an administrative report charging her with “discrediting” the army and let her go under the pledge to appear when called up.
Earlier, the media reported on the inscription that had appeared on the heart-shaped “Mariupol” installation reading “Murderers, you bombed it. Judases.” After that, the installation was urgently dismantled by the municipal services.
