432 bodies of murdered civilians have been found across the Kherson region after its liberation by the Ukrainian army, announced Prosecutor General of Ukraine Andrei Kostin. The official added that Ukraine had found nine interrogation rooms used by Russian soldiers to torture civilians.

On November 16, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) reported finding one such room in de-occupied Kherson. Items “directly indicating signs of torture” were found on the premises.

In total, Ukraine has initiated more than 400 proceedings based on “the results of the first signs of war crimes.” According to Kostin, 12 prosecution teams are working in the Kherson region, but their work is impeded by mines and Russian shelling.
