Student Anastasia Levashova, who threw a Molotov cocktail in the direction of police officers at an anti-war protest in Moscow, has been sentenced to two years of penal colony, writes RIA Novosti.
The girl was found guilty under Part 1 of Article 318 (“Use of Violence Against a Representative of the Authority”) of Russia's Criminal Code.
At the deposition, Levashova partially admitted her guilt, saying she had looked into the technology and prepared the flammable liquid herself.
According to REN TV, Levashova is the daughter of opposition activist Mikhail Kirtser.
